International conference on cybersecurity and resilience in regions aimed at sharing experiences among European leaders in the field as well as representatives from Eastern Partnership countries and regions. Debate on the opportunities and risks of the implementation of digital solutions in public administration (eGovernance).

The event is organised in the context of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU (CZ PRES). EU countries experts will represent the Presidency Trio countries (FR-CZ-SE) and Estonia using their experience in sharing public administration reform practices.

The conference will be held in English with interpretation to Russian and Czech.

The participation of representatives of the Eastern Partnership countries and their travel expenses will be sponsored by the European Commission– DG NEAR – under the ENI East Instrument (more information upon registration).

Objectives:
  • Exchange of experience and capacity building in the field of cyber security and cyber resilience on the regional level.
  • Strengthening of international partnerships on the regional level. Creating of a network of active stakeholders in the field. Possibility of sharing new open-source tools for the public administration.
  • Presentation of regions as digital leaders in the public administration area.
Expected audience:
  • Cybersecurity experts from public administration, especially at the regional level and from public service institutions established by regions and similar (where there are no self-governing regions).
  • Regional politicians.
  • Government-level experts who interact with institutions in the regions dealing with the cybersecurity issues.
