Presentation of the Vysočina

Vysočina Regional Bodies 1/4
The individual bodies of these
Regions share in the performance of tasks which the State
has entrusted to the Regions:
§Regional Assembly
§It is the only body of the Region which has
a direct mandate from the
citizens, and so it decides on the vital and planning questions of the Region
§It is elected for four years by the citizens
of the Region
§The number of Members depends on the number
of inhabitants of the
Region (in the Vysočina Region there are
45 Members)
§It establishes committees as its initiating
and controlling bodies
